The nest box program is a partnership with landowners who install boxes provided by Ducks Unlimited Canada. The boxes are placed on wetlands to provide nesting opportunities for cavity-nesting waterfowl.
Ducks Unlimited Canada staff work with the landowner to ensure the boxes are placed correctly. Nest boxes give cavity nesters like wood ducks, goldeneyes and mergansers a place to call home.
