Are you completing a Managed Forest Plan for your southern Ontario property? Do you have an existing wetland on your property? We can help you save on your investment.
Landowners who qualify for Ontario’s Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program (MFTIP) and have an existing wetland can apply for a 40% reimbursement (up to $600) toward an approved Managed Forest Plan. The wetland must be a minimum of five acres (two hectares) and meet the criteria for waterfowl habitat.
This partnership involving DUC, the Ontario Woodlot Association and MNRF is supporting wetland stewardship within existing woodlots.
