Winter wheat harvest is underway in Manitoba

Duck's winter wheat agronomists visited Rick Rutherford's farm northwest of Winnipeg to watch harvest of his crop of AAC Goldrush.

Rutherford Farms has grown winter wheat for over 25 years. Rick values winter wheat as a rotation staple because it splits up his workload and gives him an early start on harvest.

AAC Goldrush is a new variety out of Rob Graf’s program at AAFC Lethbridge.
